31 and 32 weeks! 8 weeks to go!

I feel like time is passing super fast! I can't believe that it's mid-January!
I cannot seem to keep up with updating my blog. My apologies.
These past two weeks have been full of so many wonderful things.
At 31 weeks I had a doctors visit that went well. I love Dr. Rojas! I hope he's the doctor that delivers Desmond. Some of you may be asking yourself " If that's the doctor you saw then why wouldn't he be the one delivering you baby?"  I thought the same thing before I was pregnant. It turns out that it's not like Knocked up or any movie! You don't get to pick the doctor of your choosing. At least not in my case. Our practice has 5 doctors that have a chance in delivering my baby. Who ever is on call the day I am in labor will be the doctor who delivers.  I actually believe that there is only a possibility of four different doctors because one is pregnant.  So keep your fingers crossed for Dr. Rojas!

That same week Hector and I got the most comfortable glider chair for the nursery. We got an amazing deal! It was 50% off at BabiesRus! It had an ottoman that was on sale separately. We decided not to buy the ottoman at that moment because we were hopeful that if we came back later that week that it would still be there and be sold cheaper. Boy were we right!  I mean who would buy an ottoman by itself?   I am super excited! We also bought a small side table and lamp to go right next to it. Our nursery is coming together! I can't wait to finish it and post some pictures.

At 32 weeks I went back to work after a two week vacation. I am definitely getting more and more tired everyday.  I need to find a way not to be on my feet as much. Ideas?  My favorite thing  about 32 weeks was going to birthing class with Hector. I definitely recommend that you go to one. We learned a lot about labor and delivery, stretches, and much much more.  It got me less nervous about giving birth. A major plus! I have had anxiety over giving birth for the past few weeks but now I think I am mentally ready.  I can't wait to to meet Desmond!!!!!

Here is a belly picture for 32 weeks:

30 Weeks. 10 weeks to go!

This week was amazing! Hector and I went on our baby moon and enjoyed a few days relaxing and sight seeing in Brandywine, PA. If you don't know what a baby moon is, it's your last trip before the baby comes. I recommend you go and do this! We stayed in a bed and breakfast called Pennsbury Inn.  Which is a great place to stay. We went to the Longwood Garden, Hagley museum, and the Brandywine river Museum. Here are some pictures.  Enjoy!

How far along?  30 Weeks!!
Maternity clothes? A few new shirts because I am starting not to fit into anything. I am getting big
Stretch Marks? I don't think so. But I am getting bigger each week!
Sleep: I have trouble sleeping some times. It's hard to get comfortable. The skin on my belly sometimes also feels extremely painful at times. It's awful. I also get up to pee multiple times.

28 and 29 weeks!

I know what your thinking.... Sam you have been slacking on posting! I know... But let's face it I am in my third trimester and I am tired.  There is a significant difference between my second and third trimester. It's true what they say...Second trimester is the best! First trimester  I slept all the time and I could smell things a 100 miles away! Third trimester consist of sleepiness, back aches, and gaining lots of weight! People say I look good...(side note: I always do! ha) but the scale just keeps showing me how much I have gained. It's unbelievable! I am hitting the gym after Hector Desmond is born! I need to get my body bikini ready for this summer! Anyways... I know what you want to see... so let the pictures begin.  I will make sure to also give you a synopsis of the week.

Week 28
This week I had officially entered my third trimester! Woohoo!  This week is when my back started aching a lot! I made sure to have Hector give me a back rub every night, I put a heating pad ( on low) on my back, and Johanna made me a sock full of rice to heat up and put on my back. Did I mention I have awesome friends!  We also had our annual ugly sweater party this week. Here are some pictures from that night. I didn't take pictures of everyone there.

Week 29

This week I didn't take a picture by myself but I have lots of pictures from my Tia Lourdes and Tio Franks 30th wedding anniversary and holiday gatherings!  This week was awesome. Hector and I hit the jackpot with some things for Desmond! He's already spoiled! It was a great week with family and friends. Here are some pictures from that week:
